RETURNING STUDENTS FOR 2020-2021:

Beginning on July 20, 2020, guardians of students who are returning (enrolled on the last day of school in the 2019-2020 school year) to MISD may use Skyward Family Access to register their students in the Online Registration system for the 2020-2021 school year.

I ALREADY HAVE A SKYWARD FAMILY ACCESS ACCOUNT:

1.  If you have an existing Skyward Family Access account, you will use that account to register your student.

2.  Go to Skyward Family Access:

3.  Click on the Online Registration for Returning Students button for each student and proceed  through verifying/correcting the student, family, and emergency contact information. Complete and electronically sign and date each required form. Click on the Submission button to submit.

4. The application will be reviewed, processed, and the student registered by MISD staff upon completion of the online information. Proof of Residency is to be uploaded and attached to the enrollment or registration application OR brought to the campus if there is an address change.

I DO NOT HAVE A SKYWARD FAMILY ACCESS ACCOUNT:

1.  If you do not have an existing Skyward Family Access account, you will need to request an account by sending an email to misdregistration@mexiaisd.net with your name and all of your students’ names and grades.

  • Use an existing personal email account, or if you do not have an email account, you can set up a gmail account by following the steps below:
    • To create an email account, go to https://accounts.google.com/SignUp
      • Complete the Google account form with your name and create your password. 
      • A Welcome Screen will then open to your Google account.
      • At the Welcome Screen, click the 9 small dots that are in the top right corner of the screen (just to the right of the Question Mark ?) and select “Gmail” to open your new email account.
    • For translation to another language using Chrome as the internet browser
      • Phone – Download Chrome app and open enrollment web page in Chrome. 
        • Click on 3 dots at bottom right corner. 
        • Click Translate.
        • Click the new language.
      • Computer – Download program and open enrollment web page in Chrome. 
        • Right click anywhere in web page and click Translate.
        • Click 3 dots in corner of box and choose another language.
        • Scroll down and click the new language and then click “done”.

2.  You will receive an email from do.not.reply@mexiaisd with email instructions and link to get your new enrollment application link, user name and password. The email may take a few days to arrive as staff has not returned to all campuses.

3.  After you receive your credentials, go to Skyward Family Access:

4.  Click on the Online Registration for Returning Students button for each student and proceed through verifying/correcting the student, family, and emergency contact information. Complete and electronically sign and date each required form. Click on the Submission button to submit.

5.  The application will be reviewed, processed, and the student registered by MISD staff upon completion of the online information and the receipt of Proof of Residency uploaded or brought in to the appropriate campus if there is an address change.

PROOF OF RESIDENCY DOCUMENT TO UPLOAD OR BRING TO CAMPUS IF CHANGE OF ADDRESS
  • Current (within the last 30 days) water, electricity, cable or gas bill (no telephone bills) indicating address and the parent/guardian's name;
  • The most recent tax receipt indicating home ownership;
  • A current lease or rental agreement;
  • Other timely documents that indicate location of residence, as approved by the campus
  • principal.
