Voluntary Outside Resources:
MISD's digital library follows the Standards and Guidelines for Texas, which are adopted by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. These standards and guidelines are applicable to local Texas school districts. 13 TAC 4.1
MISD is expanding our library services in accordance with Education Code 33.021, to provide more digital literature.
Please note, library books and ebooks are instructional resources; however, they are not instructional materials. As such, library resources are for voluntary inquiry, and are not required instructional materials.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding library resources, please feel free to contact the assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction.
Use this link to read digital books online. Some books even have a built-in narrator who reads the books aloud.
NOTE: Before first use, ask your child's teacher if he/she has a class code.
