Good Morning,
Today, at approximately 10:50AM, the fire alarm went off at Mexia Junior High. The building was evacuated and Mexia Fire Department responded immediately. No fire was found and Mexia Fire Department authorized students and staff to return to the building and resume school. At no time were students or staff in danger, their safety is our number one priority. A big thank you goes out to Mexia first responders for prioritizing the safety of our staff, students & facilities.
Come out tonight to watch the season opener of our Mexia Blackcats against the Westwood Panthers in the NEW Blackcat Stadium!!! Kick-off at 7:30pm.

Attention MISD Parents and Guardians, STAAR Scores for the 2023-2024 school year will be available from Texas Education Agency (TEA) to view soon! EOC STAAR results grades 9-12 will be available JUNE 7th and STAAR results for grades 3-8 will be available JUNE 14th.
