Today we celebrate School Lunch Hero Day and recognize the incredible individuals who keep our students nourished and ready to learn every day!

Our food service team does so much more than prepare meals - they greet students with a smile, create a welcoming environment, and make sure every child has access to healthy, delicious food. Their hard work behind the scenes and in the lunchroom does not go unnoticed.

🌱 Growing Minds in 6th Grade Science! 🌱 Our 6th graders got their hands a little dirty today and their learning grew even bigger! Students planted seeds as part of their science lessons, exploring what plants need to survive and how living things grow and change over time. 🌿

Students in Ms Smith's class created 2D shapes and labeled their sides and vertices using playdough and toothpicks

Take a look at what’s happening inside our classrooms at MJH! 👀❤️🖤 From hands-on learning in the kitchen whipping up tasty treats 🍽️ to our 8th grade math students completing STAAR race 📊—learning is alive, active, and engaging all across campus! We’re building skills, creating experiences, and making learning stick in every way possible.

Who said math intervention can’t be FAST and FUN?! 📊 Today we took mean, median, and mode out of the classroom and straight to the track for a 100-meter dash! 🏁 Mean tried to average it all out… but couldn’t keep up 😅 🥈 Median stayed right in the middle of the pack like always 🔥 Mode showed up the MOST and tried to steal the spotlight every race Safe to say… learning was in full sprint today at MJH!

⚽️BOYS Jr High Soccer⚽️ TUESDAY vs Harmony @JJ Kearns Stadium 102 N. 23rd Street Waco, Texas 76708 PLAYERS -leaving at 4:00pm -playing at 6:15pm -be dressed before you get on the bus -make sure you have shinguards and cleats PARENTS/GUARDIANS -if you want to bring your athlete food please do so at their designated lunch time. No food or drink will be allowed on the bus to Waco. -if you plan on taking your athlete home after the game please sign them out with Coach Hust BEFORE you leave.
