We are pleased to announce that Adalyn Cotton was recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution for her participation in National Wreaths Across America Day, Because of individuals like Adalyn, families of Veterans know their loved ones are not forgotten. This is an amazing example of Choosing Love in the community. We are super proud of Adalyn!

Happy School Resource Officer Day to Officer Banks!!! She is a true blessing to Mexia ISD. We are super grateful for her and all she does to protect our schools and teach our students about being good citizens. If you see her around, let her know how much you appreciate her.

Good morning Blackcat family, we just wanted to let everyone know that one of our buses on county rd 427 pulled over to let a car pass and ended up getting stuck in a small ditch. There was no bus accident. There were no injuries and everyone involved was safe. Thanks to the excellent work of the MISD Transportation department, all students were quickly loaded onto another bus and transported to school so the stuck bus could be pulled back onto the pavement
Book Fair is coming to Sims next week, beginning Feb. 16! The book fair will run from Feb. 16-23!
