In order to be proactive and combat lost instruction time we have set up a campus wide Google Classroom that will be used to get instruction to kiddos in the event of a shut down. The students that attended school today have joined, if your student stayed home please have them join using the code : 4se6zny
If you need help please contact the school or stop by and we will help you join. If your student does not have internet access please reach out to us today as well.
Happy Last Day of Spring Break Sims Families!! It is back to school
Tomorrow and I cannot wait to see you all! With the increase of coronavirus we will be making some changes to our day to day procedures. We will be trying our best to keep students in groups of 25 or smaller. Meaning lunch will be served in the homeroom classes, and dismissal will happen from classrooms. We will also be screening visitors to ensure that we do not let anyone who may have been exposed into the building. We also have a plan to review adequate hygiene tomorrow morning. Other than that our day to day operations should be pretty normal. We will be disinfecting often and will be as proactive as possible. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Spring Picture Day tomorrow!!!!! Your student may have free dress, as long as it is school appropriate. So if they would like to dress up then that is great!
The spring semester has arrived at R.Q. Sims. In order to provide students with individualized instruction, we will be implementing tutoring groups on 1/13. These groups will be run during the school day on Mondays and Wednesdays and will alter lunch times by a few minutes. Please take note that on Mondays and Wednesdays the following lunch times apply:
3rd Grade: 10:35-11:05
4th Grade: 12:10-12:40
5th Grade: 11:10-11:40
