FOOTBALL PLAYOFF SENDOFF

This morning a Mexia ISD bus was involved in an accident with another vehicle. First responders arrived quickly, but no injuries were reported and all students continued to school after transferring to another bus. All parents of involved students have been contacted directly.

Monday, October 11th is a Student Holiday for students and a Professional Development day for staff. Classes will resume Tuesday, October 12th for all students.

A reminder that there is no school on Monday, September 20th. This is a Professional Development day for staff. Classes will resume Tuesday, September 21st for all students.

There will be a vaccine clinic on Friday September 17, 2021 from 9am to 1pm at the MISD administration building. The clinic is free and completely voluntary. Pfizer is approved for ages 12 and older. #othersfirst

This week we are honoring Military and First Responders at Blackcat Field before the game. All current and former Military and First Responders will get into the game free with proper ID.

A reminder that there is no school on Monday, September 6th due to the Labor Day holiday. Classes will resume Tuesday, September 7th.

Update to Mexia ISD’s procedures on visitors to campuses: In an effort to ensure the health and safety of our students, the district will begin limiting visitors and guests to the campuses, effective immediately. Mexia ISD has decided to temporarily suspend parents and guardians visiting during lunches; this includes dropping off of outside food. This is effective immediately, for all campuses. Tickets for Friday (Aug 27) night's varsity FB game vs Lake Belton must be purchased online at the Lake Belton ISD website. No tickets will be sold at the game. Reminding those who got their 1st shot Covid-19 Vaccine on Aug 2, today is your day for the 2nd shot. We have a limited supply of 1st round shots for those who expressed interest. MISD Admin Bldg 9am - 1pm. #othersfirst
