Blackcat Families,
It appears we can open tomorrow for in-person learning. We have water at the school for flushing and hand washing, but as with the rest of the area we do not have drinkable water. We do have plenty of bottled water on site and also invite your students to bring their own water if it is available.
Knowing that many of our families are just getting water back on or are still recovering from damages experienced from the storm, we are going to open but excuse any absences for the rest of the week for any families still in distress. In addition if you have concerns regarding sending your student in person the rest of the week, please feel free to also keep your student at home. We understand.
We are partners in your child's education and want to accommodate your family the best we can during this time by opening but yet excusing student absence's for families still in need or concerned about the current situation.
Please contact your school office to let us know your situation and how we can help.
Stay Blackcat Strong. We are almost to the end.
