At the regular monthly board meeting last night, Mexia ISD recognized Benjie Reed for his many years of service as a member of the Board of Trustees. Thank you, Mr. Reed, for everything you’ve done for staff, students and the district as a whole for over 20 years. Following this presentation, members Bill Lowry, Bud Shamblin and John Bonner were sworn into their new three year terms. In addition, the board reorganized officer positions: President - Ron Fowler, Vice- President - Jackie Craig and Secretary - Lisa Lauderdale.
