MHS Summer STAAR Testing Details
School VACCINES offered in Corsicana!
Mexia ISD is pleased to offer free Grab and Go summer meals for children 18 years and younger, as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21.
Location: RQ Sims Intermediate
Dates: May 27 – July 1, 2025 (Monday through Friday)
Breakfast: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Weekend meals will be distributed on Fridays.
Important Note: If a child is not present at pickup, meals may only be collected by a parent or legal guardian of the child.
We look forward to serving our community and helping ensure all children have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer!

At the regular monthly board meeting last night, Mexia ISD recognized Benjie Reed for his many years of service as a member of the Board of Trustees. Thank you, Mr. Reed, for everything you’ve done for staff, students and the district as a whole for over 20 years. Following this presentation, members Bill Lowry, Bud Shamblin and John Bonner were sworn into their new three year terms. In addition, the board reorganized officer positions: President - Ron Fowler, Vice- President - Jackie Craig and Secretary - Lisa Lauderdale.

Here are just a few shots from the scholarship assembly yesterday! We are super proud of our seniors for all of their accomplishments! The Class of 2025 received over one million dollars in scholarship money!

Our English II classes enjoyed a field trip to the Holocaust Museum in Dallas. This was their finale after completing the book study in Mrs. Navas' class, Anne Frank: A Diary of a Young Girl.
Scholarship Assembly is set for May 14th at 9:00am!
Parents and Friends of the Class of 2025 are welcome to attend!
