Good morning Blackcat family, we just wanted to let everyone know that one of our buses on county rd 427 pulled over to let a car pass and ended up getting stuck in a small ditch. There was no bus accident. There were no injuries and everyone involved was safe. Thanks to the excellent work of the MISD Transportation department, all students were quickly loaded onto another bus and transported to school so the stuck bus could be pulled back onto the pavement

The District 20-3A JH OAP competition was held on December 7 and Mexia finished with a third place plaque and medals. The company performed "The Girl in the White Pinafore" which tells the story of the New London School Explosion in 1937.
The student performance on competition day was brilliant. They told the story beautifully and were wonderful representatives of MISD, Mr. Scott Batts (theater director) is so proud of them!!!
Nimzy Canizales (8th) was an all-star crew member
Jazmin Herrera (8th) was named the honorable mention all star cast
