On the afternoon of Sunday, March 22, 2020, District Admin was notified that a sponsor on the MHS band trip tested positive for COVID-19. The sponsor does not live locally and returned to his home outside Limestone County immediately after the trip. In abundance of caution the District has been in contact with with Texas Department of State Health, Region 7, which has advised that anyone who was on the trip showing symptoms of COVID-19 to call their doctor As always during this public heath emergency please get the most current and accurate information at: https://www.dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/

Blackcat Nation - Teachers are working today to create hard copy materials for all Mexia ISD students. You should be hearing from your students' teachers very soon. Material pick up will be at each campus on Monday, March 23rd. eLearning opportunties will also be communicated.

Good Morning Blackcat Nation! Today, Friday, March 6th is an early release day. Campuses will release at 12:30 with buses running early as well. Everyone have a safe and fun Spring Break. School resumes Monday, March 16th.
