Lunch Hero Day!!! Thank your campus cafeteria staff today.

Mexia High School Principal Mr. John Griggs would like to extend a congratulations to Mr. Jason Ellis! Mr. Ellis is the District 6 Student Council Eddie G. Bull Advisor of the Year. This year MHS became the Treasurer school for District 6, a three-year term. Mr. Ellis obtained the required paperwork required for the successful running of the treasurer school. Additionally, Mr. Ellis has helped MHS StuCo with another Sweepstakes in Pride and Patriotism, D.A.S.H, Energy and Environment, Community Service, and Outstanding Student Council. To gain this honor, each student council must have 15 projects in each category. Many hours of planning, working, driving, organizing, and implementing went into these projects. This could not have been achieved without Mr. Ellis and MHS Student Council! Congratulations and thank you for all you do!

Also, I am pleased to announce that Shelli Killingsworth will be moving into the role of Executive Director of Student Programs for the 2023-2024 school year.
