Even though the first day did not go as planned...when the power goes out in the main building. and multiple classes come to the library....we get creative--Legos, straws and wiffle balls, and checking out the local history (They were looking at yearbooks from up to 30 years ago)!!

1:22PM Update: Oncor is exceeding expectations and we already have power back at some campuses. Parents may still come pick up your students if desired. Please keep in mind that law enforcement is directing traffic patterns. As of now, the district plans to dismiss at regular time and buses will run as usual. After school activities are yet to be determined depending on circumstances at that time.
12:47PM Announcement: Due to a vehicle knocking down an electric power line, currently all district facilities are without electricity. This also means our phones and email are not functioning. Preliminary estimates from Oncor indicate the earliest possibility to restore power is 2:30pm, possibly much later. As a result, the district is working on a plan and more information will be coming soon. Students are safe and are being fed lunch.

Friday night the house was packed with excited Freshman! Everyone received a quick orientation, their schedules, walked the halls and enjoyed meeting their teachers! We are ready to see the students on Tuesday, August! Remember the doors open at 7:10am!

Due to the inclement weather, we are postponing the 8:00 pm “Meet the Blackcats” event. Rescheduled TBD. The indoor “Meet the Teacher” will continue as scheduled at each campus.
