Good Afternoon Blackcats,
A main water line broke a few minutes ago and as a result the water supply to several campuses appears to be off. MISD and City Officials are working together and it is possible the water may be off through the remainder of the school day. We appreciate the efforts of city and district employees to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Congrats to Ms. Wattles and our MHS students who traveled this weekend representing our art department! We are super proud of you!

🌟 Celebrating High School Counselors During Counselors Week! 🌟
This week, we honor our incredible high school counselors, Wendi Dunn and Alisha Franklin who make a profound difference in the lives of our students every single day. 💙
From providing guidance on academic planning to offering emotional support during tough times, these ladies are the unsung heroes of our campus. They are the trusted mentors who help students navigate their academic journeys, explore career options, and address personal challenges with empathy and dedication.
As we celebrate National Counselors Week, let’s take a moment to recognize the invaluable work that these ladies do:
Academic Advising: Helping students map out their educational path and make informed
decisions about their future.
Emotional Support: Being a listening ear during difficult moments and guiding students
through their personal challenges.
Career & College Prep: Assisting students in exploring career options and preparing for
college applications and beyond.
Creating a Safe Environment: Ensuring all students feel supported, understood, and
respected.
Wendi Dunn and Alisha Franklin—THANK YOU! Your hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed. You shape the future one student at a time, and we’re so grateful for everything you do. 💪
