Good Afternoon Blackcats,
Please be aware that HB 1481 is sitting on the Governor's desk for a potential signature. This bill would ban student cell phones and other electronic communication devices such as smart watches/glasses during the school day for all students, except those with a verified medical need. We will update as we learn more about whether or not it will be signed into law.

Attention Mexia ISD Parents and Guardians, STAAR test Scores for the 2024-2025 school year are available from Texas Education Agency (TEA).
As of today, parents and families can view their student’s individual STAAR results by visiting Skyward Family Access or TexasAssessment.gov using the unique access code provided by Skyward. By reviewing individual results, families gain a clearer picture of where their student is excelling and where targeted support may be beneficial.
