Good Afternoon Blackcats,
This message is to inform you that MISD received confirmation today of one case of measles within the district. For privacy reasons we are not at liberty to release more details at this time. District officials are in communication with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services to receive guidance on recommended precautions and procedures for sanitizing. We will continue to share information and resources as they become available.

Thursday, February 20th: Black History Month Celebration

Good Afternoon Blackcats,
A main water line broke a few minutes ago and as a result the water supply to several campuses appears to be off. MISD and City Officials are working together and it is possible the water may be off through the remainder of the school day. We appreciate the efforts of city and district employees to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Congrats to Ms. Wattles and our MHS students who traveled this weekend representing our art department! We are super proud of you!
